Breathing Fire |
Last weekend was a very productive 48 hours in my small world of film photography. I
handed out some cool prints of photos that were originally captured on film and shot, developed & scanned another set of images on Saturday night in time for an early week run on
Brightestyoungthings.

Sharkweek pre-show nerves |
The act of giving prints to some great people was really rewarding and the technical achievement of turning around another set of images captured on film quickly enough for a well thought contribution to a story was really unexpected.

Sharkweek |
Five years ago I didn't think I would be getting published. Two years ago I couldn't even imagine the idea of shooting film almost exclusively and nailing down my workflow to the point where I could turn around a usable collection of images in 24 hours.

Sharkweek |
Side Yard at the Navy Yard is a summer program that offers live music and side show entertainment in Southwest Washington, DC. The collective on Saturday, May 10th included DC performances by DC bands Drop Electric, Sharkweek, and US Royalty plus contortionists, fire eaters and a myriad of side show mystique.

Standing Tall |
All photos were shot on Kodak Tri-X B&W film, home developed in HC-110 developer and scanned on my V500. The ever present (and random) brown tinting on select blogger.com uploads remain.
