Some Prints and Scans

It's Monday night, which means I'm having a few beers while assessing what has passed and what's next. Most of last week was devoted to developing and scanning the ten (10) rolls of film I shot the weekend prior.
Kodak Ultramax 400
My parents came down for a visit and we did do the rare touristy thing this time around and went to a couple Monuments on Sunday afternoon. I wanted to concentrate on spending time with my parents so I put my Olympus XA in my pants pocket with a roll of Kodak Ultramax.  That camera is so tiny and a true pocket cam. My hand dwarfs it. Sharp lens though and is technically a fully manual rangefinder. The Japanese! What will they think of next???
Ready for the streets
I also managed to go out and have a few 4x6's printed for a small portfolio I have to put together for this weekend's Adam Marelli Photo Workshop in NYC. It's sooo so so much easier to organize a small collection with prints than stare at a computer screen. The keepers really stood out. I'm feeling pretty good about my stuff so far this year.
Small Prints
April is Cherry Blossom season in Washington, DC and here is the one cherry blossom photo I will have on my blog this year. Actually, I don't think this is even a cherry blossom, but I like it.
