10 From March, 2014

March was a very busy productive month for both myself and The District at large.

The cities registered Democrats nominated a female, Muriel Bowser as their candidate for Mayor. If elected in November she will be, I believe, the first female Mayor of the District. Big time doings and I think the District is ready for her.

ExposedDC threw their annual photography show at The Long View Gallery. I had a photo hanging during last year's show but I didn't make the cut this year. There were plenty of impressive photos on hand though and it was great to see the work of friends hanging.

We had some late winter snow fall.

But spring finally sprung. Kind of.

I shot some color film; Kodak UltraMax and FujiFilm Superia Max. I love color negative film of pretty much any make or ilk. I will probably be shooting more of it as the summer colors start to come out.

I wandered through a few different areas of the city.

Blogger.com seems to be compressing some of my B&W scans in a weird way, giving them a brownish tint and adding quite a bit of noise over the grain. If I wasn't computer ignorant I would try to figure out why, but oh well. Close enough.
